Jemtelands Square

Project
Jemtelands Square was previously called Jemtelands Street, but in 2003, it was converted from being a trafficked road to a pedestrian area. The square is located in central Amager, a major suburb of Copenhagen, and is intensely used by the locals as it is the main access to the public library, to the church and the community house. Furthermore, after the conversion there are now cafés with outdoor seating adding life and activity to the formerly trafficked street.
