Buying a large area of land not far from the motorway to Helsingør, ’Friheden Invest AS’ extended its grounds and dedicated it to horse riding. An important factor for designing the riding ground was establishing a new forest along the motorway, functioning as visual barrier and noise shelter. The planting scheme consists of a wide diversity of native species, adding a certain quality to the landscape, opening up in some areas, then enclosing again in others. This also affects the riding tracks. Their courses are designed in close connection to the planting, being challenging, as well as varied and eventful.
