The design brief for this project has two main objectives: The courtyard should be a pleasant place to stay as well as an attractive sight from the many surrounding flats. Brick is used as paving, having similar characteristics and colour as the facade of the adjacent buildings. A varied planting scheme consisting of shrubs, groundcover and perennials, adds an all seasonal interest to the place.
