Water installations at the Monument to Denmark’s international effort since 1948 consist of a composition of seven water-filled wells. They are a metaphor for a particular shared human experience: a life-supporting element and a place where people meet, talk, find community and develop their cultures. The wells are constructed of solid chunks of Bornholm ‘Paradis’ granite. The project was carried out for artist Finn Reinbothe.
