“The Blue Planet” is the new National Aquarium of Denmark. The design’s rotating shape –a ‘whirlpool’ design – is conveyed into the landscape; visitors are almost sucked in towards the building’s vortex, to arrive at the eye of the whirlpool. Alongside the entrance area, the landscaping project provided outdoor facilities for the public, a lake with relaxation and rest areas and a large car park.
